Pe Pita: O rođenju

Silvija Šesto

Pe Pita: O rođenju

Illustrated by Vanda Čižmek

Translated by Dušanka Zabukovec

Little Petja is incredibly curious, constantly asking questions about the world around him. From Aunt Storybook, who looks after him while his parents are at work, he has already tried to get an answer to the question of why the sky is blue. Now, he is immensely interested in how he came into this world. Since Aunt Storybook won’t give him the answer, little Ana comes to his aid. His resourceful friend has a plan to pull the adults’ leg and extract an answer to this awkward question.

This wonderful picture book encourages a conversation about birth and delivery while providing numerous opportunities to discuss family, childhood curiosity, parental embarrassment, exploring the world, and why we sometimes don’t easily get answers to certain questions.
