Pan kluska i żaglowiec

Illustrated by Natalia Jabłońska

Translated by Klemen Pisk

Mr. Pear was a great collector. In his large house and garden, he had accumulated a pile of things—rugs, vases, cups, clothes, even cars and ships. Then one day, there was no more space for him. He decided to take some things onto the sailboat that was sitting in his garden. However, a storm broke out, nearby streams turned into rivers, and the sailboat drifted into the unknown. Along with it went Mr. Pear. What will happen to him and his belongings now?

This wonderful book prompts conversations about environmental care, untouched nature, and the importance of cleaning up after oneself. The endearing main characters encourage reflections on true values, kindness, and love, conveying to children in an understandable way that sometimes it’s better not to have something than to have it.
