PIKA VONČINA

PIKA VONČINA draws and paints. She learned how to do this at a grand painting school called the Academy. So far, she has illustrated more than sixty children’s books, including textbooks and nine authorial picture books. Her cats enthusiastically claim that she captured them perfectly. Besides cats, Pika also draws other animals—such as mice, crocodiles, and rabbits—and let’s not forget the sheep Emilia and the hen Hilda. It’s no surprise, then, that she has received numerous awards for her work, both at home and abroad.
