At primary school, Peter Svetina was convinced that he would become a detective, but later decided to study medicine and finally, he graduated from the Faculty of Arts in Slovene Literature and Language, and obtained his Masters and PhD in old Slovene poetry.
From an early age, Damijan Stepančič was always being told: “Stop doing those silly things and draw instead!” People were so persistent that this is what he has been doing ever since.
